Live review of my band's gig at Vibe Bar 30/06/11 →
kypiemusic: “Power Trio. Interesting time sigs. Spiky Post Punk guitar, with indie singing  Tight rhythm section. But bass overpowering. Minutemen.  Actually quite a cool dynamic here odd time sigs and when the groove gets going it’s really good.” - Declaniom

The Winner Is...
After much re-counting and match-fixing, we have decided to go with our generation’s twisted mastermind Chuck Palahniuk and his little fable ‘Invisible Monsters’. It shall be a hard graff of thirty chapters of songs but chapter one is firmly underway – horray hose. Just realised one chapter a week would mean over half a year – what have we let ourselves in for?! Here we go.

BOOK CLUB OST
I’ve decided to start a project that I’ve been mulling over for a couple of months now. Some of you may have heard about Internet band Chameleon Circuit. Chameleon Circuit, fronted by Youtube stars Alex Day and CharlieIsSoCoolLike, write songs inspired by sci-fi television series Doctor Who. The phenomenon has timewarped into its own genre and forum that it got me thinking of taking...

There’s a fine hairline between a beach bum and a sheepdog so a sprucing was a fine choice. There’s a little place next door to my work in Chiswick that shapes the curliest perm (fit for a 70s footballer) – which turns out dresses the hair of two times ballon d’or winner Kevin Keegan. Although, I still can’t work out why I’ve still got two left feet. It’s hard to put a name on my job title so...

The pavements are lined with buttoned down shirts that are blissfully plugged into today’s summery soundtrack, blocking out the nagging voices of Apple’s sweatshop children.  For each step is monitored, as not to take over or fall behind in the queue to the nearest cattle train. I suppose, we’re all entitled to a bit of me time – as long as we just don’t know.  One old man, however, roasts under...

So here the monthly travel begins and yet procrastination is not my destination. For my intramural endeavors are pinned on my corkboard. A board that demonstrates the coalition of sanity and obsessive-compulsive disorder – what an exciting time we live in.  The pins represent the coherent sparks of my keen eye whereas the cards are my business plan. You know, with string, photos, newspaper...

Here’s proof that drummers don’t just bang rubbish bin lids and turn up late for shows and weddings. Mike (the Kypie drummer) has recorded and produced his very own album that is FREE to download at the link above. Instruments include piano, bass, guitar, vocals, synths and … erm … flute? Oh and I designed the website as well … just saying. Please Repost and Spread...
